If you are about to drown, is it okay to swim? 9/8/08

It has been a very long and exciting week with a lot of water. We woke up on Saturday to a splish splash on the carpet. I thought that the toilet backed up, but it didn't. It turns out that it was a hurricane. It had rained over the night. We live in the basement of Brother and Sister Bowes. The basement completely flooded up to our ankles. We spent all of our Saturday vacuuming 300+ gallons of water and dumping it outside. It was not fun at all. Our room had carpet. We had to pull it out. It is on the trampoline drying now. We had to relocate to higher ground. We live up stairs now. It was a real headache. This week our numbers were low because of the circumstances but last night we had two of the best lessons i have had in a long time. We taught Michelle, our bisexual investigator that is living with one of our less active members. She has some great insights and if we can just get her past that huge obstacle we would be able to baptize her. Then we went to our other investigator named Heather Warring. She is a single mother with like five kids. She is great. The spirit was really strong. She is a very humble and kind of ditsy. It is always funny she refers to herself as a brain scientist, i think she means surgeon. She is a good gater. Then we are teaching her friend Tracy. She is about seven months pregnant. She has been taking inducing medication to have the baby sooner which is ridiculous. We did not know this until last night. Her doctor found out and has her on bed rest now. I hope everything will go okay. I am enjoying myself so much out here. I have a good companion who i get along with real well. We have not had any arguments. It makes life so much easier. I love you guys i hope that you are getting along with our me, i don't know how that you can do it but i guess that you are ha ha. Love you!
